Hi guys! I know this doesn’t go with my type of blog, but I think everyone should know about these girls.
All of these girls in the photo above have a type of mental/physical disability, from autism to Down Syndrome. This amazing cheerleading group, the Sparkles, was created in 2008 by Sarah Cronk, a sophomore in high school. The Sparkles gives girls who aren’t able to do the everyday sports a chance to shine.
These girls have been on Oprah, to a Hannah Montana concert, and to see Billy Ray Cyrus in person. The Sparkle effect has inspired so many that between then and now, 58 special needs teams have been created all over the United States!
By passing this on, it will tell people that it’s okay to stand out. Reblog it to inspire many! :)
